I prefer a combination of both. I enjoy a continuous storyline that keeps me engaged and wanting to know what happens next, but I also appreciate self-contained episodes that can be enjoyed on their own without needing to follow the entire series. A balance of both allows for a mix of anticipation and satisfaction in each episode. **

Series with a continuous storyline include shows like "Breaking Bad," "Game of Thrones," "Stranger Things," and "The Walking Dead." These series feature a narrative that unfolds over multiple episodes and seasons, with each episode building on the events of the previous ones. Viewers need to watch the entire series in order to fully understand the plot and character development. This format creates a more immersive and engaging viewing experience for the audience. **

South Park began to incorporate more of a continuous storyline in its later seasons, starting around season 18. While the show has always had some recurring characters and ongoing themes, the shift towards a more serialized format allowed for longer, more complex story arcs. This change has allowed South Park to explore more in-depth social and political commentary while still maintaining its signature humor and satire. **

I find the storyline where Ilya is a former KGB agent who has been living a double life as an American citizen more intriguing. This adds a layer of complexity to his character and raises questions about his true loyalties and motivations. It also opens up opportunities for plot twists and reveals that can keep the audience engaged and guessing. Overall, this storyline offers more depth and potential for character development for Ilya. **
